I'm not sure of the whereabouts of his brother William, but I do know that Robert Kett drops in on this forum occasionally. Seems a pleasant, well informed chap.
So I would like to wish Dr Clan Gibson every success with his House of Commons early day motion, due to be tabled today. No heroes of the people should remain so unjustly convicted for so many centuries and it's high time the Ketts were afforded appropriate respect. A pardon is long overdue.
Modern day upholders of rights in Norfolk need have no fear of a similar murderous end. The opposing army is neither Royal nor right, nor has it the stomach for open combat.
