I'm not sure of the whereabouts of his brother William, but I do know that Robert Kett drops in on this forum occasionally. Seems a pleasant, well informed chap.

So I would like to wish Dr Clan Gibson every success with his House of Commons early day motion, due to be tabled today. No heroes of the people should remain so unjustly convicted for so many centuries and it's high time the Ketts were afforded appropriate respect. A pardon is long overdue.

Modern day upholders of rights in Norfolk need have no fear of a similar murderous end. The opposing army is neither Royal nor right, nor has it the stomach for open combat.

Just to wish you well as a non-treasonist. I hope you feel much improved.

But if I'm a realist, I doubt you'll feel anything. Which means that the move to purge you of centuries old tarnish was for another's benefit, not yours.

It's an intriguing parliament which devotes time to the long dead while the living have a few issues needing attention.
