Actually, climate change really is fact whether government funds it or not.

What isn't fact is the cause (amongst other things) but I'll buy "it's what the planet does as impacted by, inter alia, the sun but not man".

Peter.

Climate change is fact.

Because there is government funding to address it.

I take it that no one has read it then!

Front page, The Challenge of Climate Change. Ho, ho, ho, if it wasn't so sad it would be laughable!

The Thin Controller says that; 'The Broads will still be here in 100 years time but whether they are still an internationally important wetland and a boating paradise will depend on our management and everyone's willingness to reduce their impact on the environment'.

Fair comment. But it is then suggested that this change will lead to an increase in tourism. Or that we shall have to consider creating bypass channels around low bridges.

Why the increase in tourism, if the attractions of the Broads have been washed away?

Re the second point, if there are still roads then there will still have to be bridges over the bypass channels so why not just raise the bridges themselves?

A insubstantial piece of whimsy? I wonder just how many hours of trouser polishing was wasted on that report?

Fairly uncontentious, unless you think otherwise? Seems to me that the ever popular Thin Controller has kept his head down for this issue. Good to see that they have exceeded their dredging targets, which just proves that they weren't set too high in the first place, clever!
