for 2008. On the other hand, there are 44 locks to maintain and a few more miles of waterway.

And why doesn't this damn machine keep columns in the same order as the preview?

It does, Grunts, and its so much nicer than a tent, and the ale's good. Mind you, a trundle up to The Locks for a pint aboard the Black Dog Ferry, after the good natured bun fight, would be good.

Wasn't that an old Mark Bolan / T-Rex hit song, Ride a Black Shuck ?

And Aged Francis should know by now that figures produced by quangofficialdom rarely align with anything.

Surely,by not responding to the survey you are telling the Broads Authority that you are,a.Fully satisfied.b.Not interested or c.Can't be bothered. My experience of consultations are that they are just a farce. But like the last one our local council ran only 2 people responded.Result 50% in favour 50%against.No mention whatsoever of the number of people taking part or responding.I have filled in the form, but there again I am only a visitor. What Dr.P. should ask himself is,Do the Boads toll users enjoy the same facilities as what are provided on the Thames?John

Morning, John. Also by not responding we are telling the doctor that we don't wish to play his game, and that we don't wish to see our comments manipulated to suit his agenda. I think that many of us feel that it is pointless responding, that we won't be listened to anyway, unless we tick the right boxes! The administration's inability to listen was well proven in the run up to the Broads Bill going to parliament.

I agree with all that you say Peter.I am still not sure whether or not these consultation forms are legal, where the the person participating can be identified.I have never seen a consultation where a person has not had the option in supplying their name or in this case Registration Number.John

Re this blessed questionnaire, it now appears that intrigue and deception have both reared their ugly heads. Or lies and broken agreements! Not good, what value is trust, what value are agreements?
